T.A.G Team

Knowing your role in your marriage is very important, and being confident in your role is crucial when it come to working together as a team. There may be times when you have to switch from your typical role and take on other responsibilities that are usually done by your spouse. Does that change who you are? Does it change the God given responsibilities that you committed to? No! It's just "T.A.G. you're it! It's your turn to take on that particular task, duty, or responsibility. T.A.G. breaks down to:

T---telling your partner when you need help

A---accepting how they handle the responsibility or duty

G---Giving them credit for taking on a task that is out of their comfort zone

It's about both people taking, accepting, and giving. Often times rather than tagging our spouse, we become frustrated and/or upset, and it usually results in a heated discussion that has nothing to do with the situation at hand. In marriage a successful game of T.A.G. takes teamwork. Recognize that both roles and responsibilities are important and you have to work together to ensure that everything gets done!
